Bigthing created a website for Carswebsale to make the process of listing and searching for a car as easy as possible. It allows buyers to find detailed information and specifications about individual cars, as well as providing a hassle-free way of contacting the seller.
Challenge and Goals
Carswebsale acquires car listings from various dealers and sources throughout Australia, and the quality of these listings can vary greatly. To help buyers make an informed decision, car information needs to be automatically updated so that it is complete and accurate.
Buyers also need to be able to easily sort listings by make, colour, fuel, which are not always provided consistently. This sorting and searching needs to happen quickly, as users expect instant feedback from their actions.
Solution & Success
Bigthing’s solution matches car makes and models to an industry database, allowing us to provide comprehensive vehicle specifications. Our algorithm ‘cleans’ each listing, ensuring that it can be easily read and searched for.
Our search engine analyses each keyword and feature, allowing buyers to search through thousands of cars and their details within milliseconds. The site was designed responsively, so that users can find cars on any device.
